Eel fish cage culture is becoming popular as a profitable and modern farming method in many countries including Bangladesh. The cages are usually made of bamboo frames and are lined with strong nylon or HDPE netting. A typical cage size might be: 2 meters × 2 meters × 1 meter. Usually, fry weighing 10–15 grams are kept in the cage. The cage mesh should be cleaned at least once a week.
